Aalborg,
which is a beautiful and lively city, steeped in history and rich in
great experiences. With its magnificent location by the banks of the
rolling Limfjord, Aalborg is the main city in the Danes' preferred
holiday region, North Jutland
'Jomfru Ane Gade' is Aalborg's remarkable party street that has
7,000 facebook fans.
The
city recently opened the modern Utzon centre to celebrate architect
Jørne Utzon’s career. It is said that his early experience of
working with his father on the design of sailing boats and seeing
the huge hulls of ships under construction in dry-dock, that was
later to give him the ideas behind the huge boat-like roof-shells of
the Sydney Opera House.
