The main challenge southward will be threading
through the North Sea oil and gas rigs
and heavy maritime traffic. At the start of the
exciting eight day journey, winds are likely to be
north-westerly then, as the journey continues,
backing round to the south-west, making for a
challenging approach to Den Helder.
