Tall Ships Race - "The last great adventure"

One of the worlds greatest festivals, around one hundred sailing vessels and thousands of young people gather together in a series of ports in Northern Europe with challenging offshore sailing between each port.

Moosk is one of the smallest vessels to take part in the tall ships race but was recently honoured with the cover page in Tall Ships magazine with an amazing image of Moosk crossing the start line off La Coruna in August 2006.

No previous sailing experience is necessary.

Food and foul weather clothing is included.

RYA sailing courses can be completed and sections of the Duke of Edinburgh Award completed.

There is a minimum age limit of 15 years as at 12 July 2009 for Race 1, 23rd July for the Cruise in Company and 31st July for Race 2, most participants on Moosk will be between 16 and 25 years old.
